At the age of 15, Arnaud (his real name), started fiddling around and remixing famous tracks with his computer, an old Atari, and a small Yamaha keyboard. Progressively, he made his own creations, inspired by The Cure, Anne Clark, Depeche mode or Queen. In 1995, the French Touch wave was like a shock to a lot of people and to him with the Daft Punk and their now mythical album "Homework". Their rough view of music suits him perfectly. Meanwhile, he discovered artists such as Chemical Brothers, Green Velvet or Laurent Garnier, strengthening the revelation he just had. Then, even though he was studying art, he decided to give up to throw himself into music and Djing. He then began writing his own songs, and became Da Fresh. Four years later, he finally signed up his first EP, released by Weaked record label, including the track "All nite long". It's a mix of disco house sounds with acid, and brought him some kind of success. But Da Fresh truly won fame at the end of 2002, with the release of his album "Supa feeling" (Weaked / PIAS). Taken from this album , "Fuckin track" is a huge hit playlisted by the greatest international Djs, both club and underground. Since, he continues the successes on labels like Zebra 3, Missile, Hypnotic... Bringing a sound between house, electro and techno, at once recognizable. He's now one of the French electronic scene's rising stars. |
